Antone (Tony) Felix served honorably in the US Navy during WWII, in the USN
Armed Guard Service. Tony served aboard:
SS George Vancouver
SS Eugene Field
SS Frederick W. Wood
Tony had mentioned a few ports to his son, such as Oran (Algeria), Palermo
(Sicily), Molotovalsk (Russia) and Antwerp (Belgium.)
Tony went to the Armed Guard Gunnery School in Little Creek, Virginia and was
a Gunners Mate Third Class.
He was well liked and respected by his shipmates and his Officers.
