Calvin O. Lair served in the US Navy during World War II. He served honorably
and was liked and respected by fellow crew members and his Gunnery Officers.

Calvin was assigned to several ships during his duty in the Navy Armed Guard.
He was assigned to:

SS Greenville Victory
SS James H Kincaid
