Charles R McCafferty served on the SS William H Moody from October 1943 to July 1944 and on the USAT Mariposa from August 1944 until 15 September 1945. He made 13 voyages on the Mariposa. Charles has sailed around the world. He presently resides in Cincinnati, Ohio with his lovely wife, Evelyn.
