Honoring Harvey Franklin Wyatt
Harvey Franklin Wyatt was born 16 February 1913. He joined the US Navy
and was sent to Great Lakes Naval Training Center for boot training and
was then assigned to the US Navy Armed Guard Center, Pacific at
Treasure Island.
Harvey served as a gunner on the SS Ochoco and the SS Wisconsin. He
performed his duties in an exemplary manner and was well liked and
respected by his shipmates and by his Gunnery Officer. He was a Seaman
First Class.
