Herbert K Webster’s Mother In Law, Lucille, worked at Calship as a boiler maker,
a studwelder and a Marine Pipe Fitter and was called a Plunberette! It was a
good arrangement with her and other members of her family building ships and
Herbert sailing them. America was totally supportive of World War II.
Herbert was a member of the World War II Navy Armed Guard and sailed on the
SS Brand Whitlock, SS Cape Mears and the SS Toloa. He was a great sailor and
is a great Husband and Father.
