James N. Hogue

In loving memory of James (Red) Hogue

James N. (Red) Hogue served in the Navy from 1943 to 1946 and was assigned
to the US Navy Armed Guard Service. Never one to take the easy road, Red
served primarily in the North Atlantic, where much of the action was. He
was assigned to the SS Edwin L Drake as one of his ships.

James always performed his duties in a military manner and was well liked
and respected by his fellow shipmates and his gunnery officers.

James passed away 23 March 2005. He had been ill for quite some time. His daughter
Donna quit her job and cared for him to the end.

If you remember him and want to contact his daughter, just send an email to
PCHFDONNA6@CHARTER.NET and she will be in touch with you.

God Bless men like James N Hogue! God Bless his family!
