Lloyd W. Petteys served honorably in the WWII U S Navy Armed Guard and attained
the rate of Gunner’s Mate Third Class.
Lloyd served on the SS A C Rubel and the SS Joseph Rodman Drake. He was well
liked and respected by his shipmates and his Gunnery Officers.
