In Loving Memory of Milton L. (Joe) Johnson
Milton L. (Joe) Johnson of Lisbon, North Dakota served honorably in the WWII US Navy Armed Guard, serving to protect the Merchant Ships that delivered oil, gas, explosives, ammunition, weapons, vehicles, food and other supplies all over the world to our troops and our allies. Milton served on the SS Gilbert Stuart and the SS Temple Victory. He was assigned to the Armed Guard Centers in Treasure Island, California and New Orleans, Louisiana after receiving boot training in Farragut Naval Training Station in Idaho.
