Phares B. Gibble was a good Armed Guard, well liked by his shipmates. He was a good sailor, a good husband and a good American. He was born September 26, 1924 and lived in Pennsylvania. He served on the SS Hiram S Maxim, the SS Alexander Graham Bell and the SS William B Wilson. Phares is survived by his wife, Joan Gibble, who is an honorary member of our association.
