Salvador Brau (1842-1912)

Historian, sociologist, journalist, poet, novelist, playwright, essayist,
newspaperman, politician and one of the main figures of the Puertorican
XIX century. He also wrote an earlier history of the island, Historia de
Puerto Rico (1904).
